New haircut!
I got bangs again!! I was growing them out but they drove me bonkers tickling my eyelids and nose. Now, even though I may have to trim them a bit between appointments, I am happy to have bangs again. 
Acne Studios...Basics
In the realm of high fashion or Haute Couture, these items would probably be considered reasonably priced...but in my unemployed, just graduated world, they are "Are you freaking kidding me?" priced. But they are rather nice...as basics go...although I am getting out of wearing leather. 
The Common Wardrobe...My Common Wardrobe
As a cousin to an earlier post about The Common Wardrobe, as per The Vivienne Files, I wanted to post what my common wardrobe looks like. I swapped out the khaki chinos for a long cardigan as I LOVE and have too many cardigans lol!! (I honestly do!!).
So here is my common wardrobe for at least this next three months or so. It forms the base of my Project 333 wardrobe as well...

Stripe me!!
I Are you a stripe lover or phobe?

Typical fashion rules of old state that if you are above a certain weight you shouldn't wear stripes...rules schmules!!!
Stripes are classic, fun and and can worn by all shapes and sizes. It all just depends on how comfortable you are wearing them. Now we have chevron and diagonal stripes that are easier to wear...go ahead, try a stripe!!
Waxed!!
Got my face waxed this morning...what a special experience that is!! Hot wax being ripped off your face over and over again, but it does the job. Now the only hair I have left on my face is my eyebrows and they look great!!

Slight discrepancy
I realize that I have had a couple of posts ranting about the high cost of clothes/ accessories. Then had pieces in the sample capsule wardrobes that were exorbitantly expensive (if you pay attention to that sort of thing 😜). The point when looking at the capsule wardrobe is to get an idea not to try and actually shop from it...I am not out to sell anyone anything with my blog...just sayin'
So, just like when checking out runway shows, pay attention to style/ colour/ cut/ trends then shop your closet first and foremost!!

One of my fashion icons, Katherine Hepburn, was a strong willed woman who was not afraid to break the rules, and in so doing revolutionized women's fashion forever!! What did she do? Fashion at any price?
Browsing through Polyvore, looking at T-shirt dresses, I saw dresses in the hundreds and a thousand plus dollars for basically a long t-shirt, all I could say was "Really?"
Granted I am frugally minded, but I do NOT believe in spending more than a hundred dollars for a dress, let alone a block of cotton material!!
Am I alone in thinking that prices for clothes is getting outrageous?

My week in pre-view
Good morning and Happy Sunday!!
Gonna be an eventful week getting ready for Recruitment Time. Along with my planned workouts this week starting tomorrow...I have a waxing appt. on Wednesday, dentist appt. on Thursday, hair appt. on Saturday (plus weight watchers meeting), and finally a modelling gig on Sunday. Phew!! Bring it on!!!
